According to Ayurvedic science, one should eat between sunrise and sunset. It is advisable to note time of sunset and sunrise in your area and plan the meal accordingly.

As the sun rises, the body’s digestive fire rises and when the sun is at peak, the digestive fire is also at peak.
As the sun starts to go down, the digestion power also slows down. The food consumed post sunset is tough to digest by the body and hence leaves harmful toxins in the body leading to short and long term health issues.
It is similar to modern day’s intermittent fasting technique, However the difference is here nature decides the time.
In the next blog, we will discuss what we should eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
